Recovery After Surgery
Following joint replacement surgery you will be mobilised the same day and start physiotherapy on the day of surgery.

Physiotherapy and joint injections
Physiotherapy can often help in hip & knee arthritis, and if appropriate you can be referred.
Mr Hayward often injects arthritic knees and can also inject a painful arthritic hip. This would be used if a person isn't suitable for surgery or to confirm the diagnosis.
