Knee Arthroscopy
Knee arthroscopy or keyhole surgery is used to treat a variety of problems in the knee.
Torn cartilage, loose bodies, small areas of cartilage loss can all be treated by arthroscopy.
Arthroscopy for arthritis alone is not often performed but if the patient has mechanical symptoms then that may be improved, but does not deal with the underlying arthritic process.
