Conditions
Osteoarthritis
Arthritis is a condition that causes joints to become painful and stiff.
The most common type of arthritis is osteoarthritis; other types are post traumatic arthritis and inflammatory, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
The treatment for theses varied types of arthritis is quite different, but your GP will know who to refer you to.

Info here
Treatment of arthritis in the hip and knee varies according to your age, and the severity of your condition.
Advice about exercise, lifestyle modification, medication and physiotherapy are often the first stage of treatment.
If your arthritis is more advanced, surgery may be advised.
Mr Hayward will discuss with you in detail what treatment may best suit your needs.
Sports Injuries
As much as we all strive for a healthier lifestyle, and enjoy sporting activities, unfortunately injuries can occur.
Assessment of your sporting injury, advice and management of your expectations is crucial in your recovery and eventual return to sport.
